Farmer’s gallows sales attacked
12May06

From the “merchants of death” files we find the farmer, David Lucas, from Suffolk. He has been building and selling gallows to African countries such as Zimbabwe for roughly 10 years. Thankfully, this type of activity will be outlawed by an upcoming EC regulation. This man doesn’t see what’s wrong with what he has been doing. His reply as to why he is engaged in this type of sick work is “business is business”. “He added some people deserved the death penalty.”
The execution equipment he says he sells ranges from single gallows, at about £12,000 each, to “Multi-hanging Execution Systems” mounted on lorry trailers, costing about £100,000.
Well, I can safely say I hope this new EC reg puts Lucas in the poor house.
