This is freaking hilarious. This site has a piece on 31 ways to lace your shoes. Amusing…

My diagrams are all drawn as though looking from the front of the shoe, such that the lower part of the lacing is at the bottom of the diagram, and are colour-coded to make it easier to follow where the lace runs. Generally, the start of the lacing is grey, whilst the lace end that starts on the left side is blue and the end that starts on the right side is yellow. For colour-blind visitors, Blue=Dark=Left, Yellow=Light=Right.

Authorities have refused to release video and audio tapes of Mel Gibson’s drunken driving arrest, saying the material is part of an “investigatory file” and exempt from the California Public Records Act.

TMZ, a celebrity news Web site, had asked Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca for tapes of the incident in which Gibson uttered obscenity-laced, anti-Semitic comments.

Oh right, silly me. He apologized. Right, right…

After being pulled over for drunk driving, Mel Gibson allegedly spewed hateful comments about Jews at the arresting officer. The incident got weirder when the Sheriff’s office apparently attempted to sweep the matter under the rug according to TMZ.com. Here is his mug shot from the July 28 incident.

It looks more like a head shot than a booking. I smell a rat.

City hall has issued a decree banning indecent clothing to preserve the tranquillity of the sandy beaches created on the banks of the River Seine every summer since 2001.

“People must behave according to good standards to maintain tranquillity, security and public order,” the decree said, according to Saturday’s edition of Le Parisien. “Notably indecent attire (nude sunbathing, g-strings and toplessness etc) is forbidden.”

Light a candle for the all the wonderful breasts that will no longer see the sun.

Jeebus! So, like I saw this guy, and he must have been a terrorist cuz like he was looking like he was a terrorist and he might have thought about being bad and crap like that.

A draft being circulated within the administration says the more defendant-friendly court-martial system is “not practicable in trying enemy combatants” since it would require the government to share classified information, The New York Times reported on its Web site Tuesday night.

According to the draft, hearsay evidence would be allowed unless it was deemed to be unreliable. Defendants also would be barred from their own trials if it necessary to protect national security.

Sigh, this is evil in a way that would make the prince of darkness roll back in his chair and say “damn dude, that’s just wrong”.

The Kerala region of India is known for their cooking, namely fish based dishes. Well, the term “it’s raining cats and dogs” took on a decidely different spin this past Thursday.

When the clouds broke last Thursday, villagers said they saw small, pencil-thin live fish falling from the sky.

“Initially no one noticed it. But soon, we saw some slushy objects on the ground and noticed some slight movement,” Abubaker, a local shop owner, was quoted as saying in the Hindustan Times.

“I alone collected 30 ice-cold fish of which many died,” said the resident of Manna, 20 km (12 miles) from Kannur, in the north of the state.

Mother nature has a way of fcuking with ya.

This is a bit of a tangent for us at Nine Baud but nevertheless. The decline of the american empire is in full swing. We saw porn star, Mary Carey, run for office in California in 2003 and now we find Mimi Demayo running for office in Nevada.

Mimi delivered her first campaign speech Tuesday night. Some are dismissing her campaign as a giant publicity stunt, but the issues she’s talking about are deadly serious and simply because of her porn star history, she’s getting attention.

Being home to Las Vegas it seems oddly appropriate that she’s running. I know I’d vote for her.
